Y-Cable for Meat Probes
The Meat Probe Y-Cable can be used with a Flame Boss model 300 or Big Green Egg EGGgenius smoker controllers to add additional probes. You can use two Y-Cables to add two additional meat probes for a total capacity of 3 meat probes. The Y-Cable works with High-Temperature Probes and Probes with Coated Cables.
Running with 2 Meat Probes: Plug 1 Y-cable into the pit jack on the Flame Boss® 300 controller. Plug the pit probe into the black lead labeled PIT/M1. Plug 1 Meat probe into the red lead labeled M2/M3, plug the 2nd meat probe into the meat jack.
Running with 3 Meat Probes: Plug 1 Y-cable into the pit jack on the Flame Boss® 300 controller. Plug the pit probe into the black lead labeled PIT/M1. Plug 1st meat probe into the red lead labeled M2/M3. Plug 2nd Y-cable into the meat jack. Plug 2nd meat probe into the black lead labeled PIT/M1 and 3rd meat probe in red lead labeled M2/M3.
